First day of chemo

Today I start my first chemo football game. I have been ready to tackle this disease from the minute I heard that the cancer had spread. I have so much faith that I am confident I will take this battle to the end zone and score multiple touchdowns to win the game! My late husband is by my side in spirit holding my hand. If he were here he would tell me that this is going to be a tough game but I just have to play DEFENSE and I'll make it to the championship round. I have grown strong because of everyone's prayers. I feel a vast amount of good energy flowing around me, helping me stay positive. I thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and support. With eveyone's help I will be a champion! I am ready to fight and take control. Because in this football game, MY team wins!
