Well today is my birthday. And as I had anticipated, I'm not feeling too great today. Bones are aching and I'm nauseous. I am not even looking forward to the delicious Coconut Lemon Cheesecake that Tita ordered for me from NYC. I never thought I'd say that all I want to do on my birthday is sleep. But it's ok because I have many other birthdays to look forward to. So on this not so great day, I still wish myself, my brother Quate, and my brother Fernando a very Happy Birthday...to many more glorious years filled with love, warmth, family, and friends!
Happy Birthday, Terry! The good thing about cheesecake is that it keeps well when frozen, so you'll be able to enjoy it when you feel better.

Belated Happy Birthday Terry!! The cheesecake looks simply delicious but not as great and beautiful as you. Sorry to hear that you were not feeling so well that day but those football games can get you down more times than we care for. I remember my treatment days, you start out with all these good intentions and you take two steps and you are completely winded and done for the day. Sleep was another thing I wanted to do and many times I couldn't. Time comes and goes and before you know it you reach the end of the treatments, you get the best news ever that you are in remission and you and your tired body get a much needed vacation. It's the best and you are heading in that direction. Hang in there. You know that the Salazar and Montemayor families are fighters and with God's graces and His huge love for us and with all of our families and friends prayers, we MAKE IT ALL THE WAY!!! We also had the number 1 role model...NANE. God bless her and thank God for her. I think of her when I start to feel a bit worn out and she helps me bounce right back. Love that lady. Know that we are all praying for you, cheering you on and walking every step of the way with you.
